FIRST, A FEW NICE COMMENTS:

From a surgical oncologist in NYC who does breast, head and neck surgery and is an Ultrasound Instructor for the American College of Surgeons.

Dear Dr. Borg,

I am a surgical oncologist who does breast and head & neck surgery. I am an Ultrasound Instructor for the American College of Surgeons and have been working with Larry for almost 10 years. The most important thing I can say is that he is an honest, no nonsense guy-a straight shooter. He is not going to sweet talk you. I don't have personal experience with the machines that he sells but I trust that he will back anything that he sells with honesty. I myself have been using the same machine for the past 10 years without problem. Every machine on the market today is far better than what I'm using. It's been my experience that the new 100K machines the radiologists get are too sensitive-every cyst now has debris in it and becomes complex. So I wouldn't worry too much about the machine except getting the features that you need for your specific practice. Best of luck and I'm sure you won't go wrong with Larry. I don't see your colleagues often (although I know them) as I am doing most of my surgery now at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Richard A. Lopchinsky, M.D., F.A.C.S.

From an Endochrinologist

Seriously. I am very impressed. I am very detail oriented and I am very sensitive to "customer service" part of business. I believe I am in line with Warren Buffet when he says that one of the most important trait that he looks in a company is the character of people running it. I do believe honesty and transparency is still the best policy. We may see lots of crooks around us in our society, in all strata of socio-economic status, but in the long run sincerity always pays. Thanks for doing a good job. I am going to put my comments on sermo and will send you a copy/paste.

This is what I commented:

I left a message at their (theultrasoundstore.com) website. I got call back right away. All my questions were answered with sincerity. I found them very trustworthy. Their website gives a good impression of honesty and accountability. They have got very good references too. I think I am going to be very happy customer with them. I just okayed to buy from them (in about 24 hours). Person who handled my case is very good. He was interacting with me over the weekend, even when he may have been busy with family. I am yet to see the product but I have very good feeling about them and I think they will win a very strong recommendation from me.

This is what got me to look at your site:

<check out The Ultrasound Store, based in Atlanta and has web site by same name. You don't need to spend $35,000 to get good imaging guidance. I have been doing office and hospital procedures with ultrasound since 1995 and could not practice without it. Keep your overhead down, get a basic machine, do it yourself, and you will love it. Beware of big fancy machines with expensive maintenance contracts. >

Again, thanks for keeping the American spirit of "work hard - live well" alive.

Thanking you,

With Warm Regards,

Pawan Kumar, MD

From a hospital sonographer

Hi, Larry, I spoke to the Interim CEO on yesterday.  He has changed his mind and decided not to purchase at this time L  I will keep your contact info and once I have an actual commitment from him, we can get a new quote since the prices are changing. Thank you for working with me to get all of the information I requested.  I can see why your company is so successful.  Your customer service is outstanding.

 Thanks again,

OVERPAYING IS OVER!
When you let our following national manufacturers ship you through us rather than their salesman...

GE Ultrasound -- Sonosite Ultrasound -- Toshiba Ultrasound -- Philips Ultrasound -- Biosound Ultrasound -- Every Other Brand

We're becoming the largest installer of ultrasound systems, portable ultrasound, and ultrasound machines. Consumer Reports doesn't compare ultrasound systems, ultrasound machines, or portable ultrasound, but our ultrasound engineers and sonographers – never a salesman – will scientifically match your need to the right system. And Affordably. No commissions! We even compare for and deliver to Johns Hopkins & MD Anderson Cancer Center because everyone must now avoid high commissions. Two Caveat Emptors: If ubiquitous " Refurbished" offers tempt you, click Disappointed Doctors to see underdelivery and financial problems. If you don't understand how large medical commissions usually are, c lick to see that manufacturer's commissioned salesman charge doctors even $20,000+ extra for identical products we sell without any commission.

.

THE DECIDER
READ THROUGH THE ULTRASOUND MACHINE FEATURES BELOW
To help you decide if you would like to have our free Scientific Assistance In Selecting
The Best Affordable Ultrasound System For Your Practice?

.

Either you, or someone in your corner, should be thoroughly familiar with the following ultrasound system, ultrasound machine, or portable ultrasound information, so you can receive the appropriate product to fit your need(s). Without paying extra for features you don"t need. Without being "under delivered" your requirement. And certainly without paying a very large hidden commission.

If Consumer Reports evaluated medical devices there would be no need for our scientificl assistance. -

- Would it save you time to have a customized Ultrasound Findings Report for your specialty (complete with annotated film and voice-dictated procedure film clips) to archive you Medical Records & email? (Our reports are Medical Society Approved. Ask us for a sample report.)

- Do you need a system with the computing power to operate post processing compute-driven algorithms to process each line of transmitted and received data to/from the transducer to be applied to the resulting displayed image? Or not?
Do you need non-imaging features like ergonomics that greatly increase system cost?

- Do you need front end design employing advanced and consequently more expensive techniques to not only improve signal to noise figures but to allow computer control of image processing.
Do you need probes that incorporate processing electronics within the probe housing itself?

- Do you require automatic gain remapping that emulates the TGC in some respects but is continuously analyzing and adaptively remapping the displayed image.

- Do you need frequency compounding is employed to reduce “speckle” in the displayed image using a process of dividing and recombining the filtered pulse echo spectrum in accordance with an algorithm in software?

- Do you require real time spatial compounding to reduce backscatter and improve the dynamic range between a “no signal” state and a “maximum signal” state?

- Do you need imaging with multiple lines of sight combined into one line of sight? Uniform and thick slice thickness?

**Would your seller sign an affidavit stating what is the the salesman commission included in your price? Or not?

Etc.
